DI’s approach

New business strategy formulation and execution
Although companies often start by considering strategy, it is common for businesses to fail to achieve significant growth once launched simply because the process was not appropriate. Using the expertise it has cultivated over many years, DI advances projects broadly through three phases: “market analysis/identification of promising domains,” “business model design for each domain,” and “team-building/execution support.”

An ambidextrous management strategy that considers both new and existing businesses
There are many cases in which strategies are developed as extensions of existing businesses, while new businesses proceed independently, resulting in a fragmented company-wide growth strategy. In this context, companies are required to realize ambidextrous management optimized for each company from a variety of perspectives, such as their resources, industries, and business models in which they excel. DI supports the realization of this through strategy formulation based on repeated discussions and hands-on support for execution.

Organizational strategy, business transformation, and implementation through DX
There are many cases in which DX promotion is carried out as an extension of existing organizations, leaving roles unclear and preventing DX from taking root on the front lines, DX talent from developing, and reforms from advancing. From the perspective of ambidextrous management, DI draws on the knowledge it has cultivated in both existing businesses and new businesses to realize transformation that integrates businesses, organizations, and human talent together with leading companies.
