Shigeaki Okamoto

  • Graduated from the Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo, and joined the former Ministry of Finance.
  • After serving as Budget Examiner (planning) of the Budget Bureau, Director of the Personnel Division of the Minister’s Secretariat, Deputy Director-General of the Budget Bureau, Director-General of the Minister's Secretariat, and Director-General of the Budget Bureau, he was appointed Administrative Vice-Minister in 2018.
  • Retired from public service in July 2020.
  • After retiring from public service, he was appointed Senior Advisor to DI in 2020.
