Hideka Morimoto

  • Graduated from the Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo, and joined the Environment Agency (now the Ministry of the Environment).
  • After serving as Secretary to the Minister of the Environment; Director of the General Affairs Division, Minister’s Secretariat; Director of the Personnel Division, Minister’s Secretariat; Cabinet Councillor at the Cabinet Secretariat, concurrently serving as Director of the Office for Preparation of Reforms to Nuclear Safety Regulatory Organizations; Deputy Secretary-General of the Secretariat of the Nuclear Regulation Authority; and Director-General of the Minister’s Secretariat, he was appointed Administrative Vice-Minister in 2017.
  • After retiring from public service, he was appointed Senior Advisor to DI in 2020.
