DI signs a comprehensive partnership agreement with the agency representing creator Tomohiro Yamashita, “the most famous otaku in China”

Dream Incubator (Shanghai) Inc. (DI Shanghai), the China Office for Dream Incubator Inc., has announced that it has officially signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with office339, which represents creator Tomohiro Yamashita—“the most famous otaku in China.”

Shanghai has been providing office339 and Yamashita with various forms of support for the last three years. The Yooya digital content platform,* a DI investment, has given Yamashita an outlet for his creative output ever since he started to develop a growing following. Yamashita’s hit video series One Minute Gentleman,** which debuted on Yooya in December 2014, now boasts 400 million page views a month—a level that makes it one of China’s most popular forms of subculture content.

Through the new partnership, DI Shanghai will work with office339 to help Japanese clients develop their Chinese markets by aligning strategies with the latest trends and producing unique, high-impact content.
