DI’s mission is “Create Businesses and Change Societies.” Over the past 25 years, we have worked with many large corporations, governments, and venture companies to create significant businesses that change society (i.e., “Business Producing”), continuously refining our methodologies and tools.
\n\u201cBusiness Producing\u201d is highly compatible with the concept of sustainability which aims to resolve social issues. If social issues can be resolved through business, not only will the scale of business itself increase, but the impact to society would also become more meaningful. Because it is that kind of initiative, it is easier to get help from colleagues, and the opportunity to obtain support from the national and local governments for the development and review of systems is also enhanced.<\/p>\n
At the same time, change in the environment surrounding Japanese companies is accelerating further. As uncertainty becomes the norm amid inflation, rising capital costs, the rapid progress of AI, increasing geopolitical risks, and other factors, improving corporate value through the reform of existing businesses, in addition to the creation of new businesses, has become an even more important management issue. In response to these needs, DI\u2019s \u201cComprehensive Business Producing Capability\u201d are playing an ever-expanding role. Moreover, as \u201cstrategy\u201d becomes increasingly important, the value of realizing that \u201cstrategy\u201d is also increasing, and we strongly feel the high expectations placed on DI, which has strong implementation capabilities.<\/p>\n
Against this backdrop, our Business Producing business is increasingly addressing fundamental corporate transformation, expanding beyond traditional new business support to include end-to-end support from strategy through execution and technology-enabled transformation of existing businesses. We are seeing clear progress in the value we deliver as these offerings evolve. Furthermore, while adapting to advances in AI and other technologies and changes in the business environment, we will further strengthen investment in talent recruitment, development, and our support capabilities to achieve sustainable growth and create greater value.<\/p>\n
