(\u201cthe Company\u201d) hereby announces the resignation of an outside director of the Company effective October 3, 2021.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Resigning outside director<br \/> Takashi Shimada<\/li>\n<li>Date of resignation<br \/> October 3, 2021<\/li>\n<li>Reason for resignation<br \/> Mr. Takashi Shimada was appointed executive secretary in charge of political affairs (national civil servant in the special service category) to the new Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in his Cabinet launched on October 4.
