Gota Nakazawa, a manager of Dream Incubator Inc. , participated as a jury panel member in the 1st IoT Lab Selection, the government-hosted business contest

On Feb 7, 2016, METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan) and IoT Acceleration Lab hosted the 1st IoT Lab Selection, a governmental initiative selecting the leading businesses and projects utilizing IoT technology.




DI was selected as an organization supporting the financing and business operations of these new businesses/projects, and Gota Nakazawa, DI manager, participated as a jury panel member for the selection.

DI, as the business producing company, will continue to provide financial/strategic support to new businesses which can change our society and compete in the world market, while supporting Governmental initiatives.



■About the IoT Acceleration Lab
The IoT Acceleration Lab, a newly-organized industry-government-academia framework, is aimed at the creation of advanced projects involving the IoT. As well as promoting business alliances and offering regulatory and fiscal support, it pursues the environmental improvements such as regulatory reform and the creation of systems aimed at large scale social implementation.

Gota is engaged in widely-ranging projects, especially with a lot experience at creating business development plans for seed technologies and at realizing innovative businesses by connecting large companies with cutting-edge startups. Also, he excels at strategic consultancy from macroeconomic/public policy perspectives, having experiences of working as an executive secretary to the Minister of economic, trade and industries of Japan and as a deputy director of Ministry of Finance of Japan before that. Gota holds a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Law, The University of Tokyo, and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School.
